      The JC-880 BOD analyzer is a new type of instrument that uses the air pressure difference method to measure biochemical oxygen demand. It can accurately provide measurement results comparable to chemical dilution methods, with intuitive readings, clear biochemical reaction curves, and easy maintenance. It is an ideal tool for work analysis.

      This instrument refers to GB7488-87 water quality five-day biochemical oxygen demand as the standard, and the five-day cultivation method is also known as the standard dilution method or dilution inoculation method. The principle is: after diluting the water sample, cultivate it at 20 ℃± 1 ℃ for 5 days, and calculate the dissolved oxygen content in the water sample before and after cultivation. The difference between the two is BOD5. Biochemical oxygen demand or biochemical oxygen consumption (generally referring to five-day chemical oxygen demand) is a comprehensive indicator of the content of aerobic pollutants such as organic matter in water. The total amount of dissolved oxygen consumed in water when organic matter is oxidized and decomposed by microorganisms, resulting in its inorganic or gaseous transformation. The higher its value, the more organic pollutants there are in the water, and the more severe the pollution.

With a microcomputer controlled BOD testing device and simplified BOD method, you can quickly and correctly complete important tests. The entire device operation process can be unattended.       The testing device uses a simple sample dilution method, making BOD measurement easy without the need for remote control facilities. The operator only needs to simply add the measured sample and BOD buffer to 6 BOD bottles, connect the bottles to the pressure sensor of the microprocessor control device, select a suitable range from the four ranges, and the BOD testing device can complete the subsequent tests. After the sample temperature stabilizes, the device begins to read the BOD value and store it in the instrument's memory. It is recorded every 15 minutes and can be tested for a period of 5 or 10 days.
