  • Product Description
  • Description :

Hot dip galvanized steel pipe (also known as hot-dip galvanized steel pipe) is a corrosion-resistant steel pipe made of welded steel pipe or seamless steel pipe as the substrate. After degreasing, acid washing, plating assistance, and drying, it is immersed in molten zinc solution at 440-460 ℃ to form a composite coating of zinc iron alloy layer and pure zinc layer on the surface of the steel pipe.

    -Super strong anti-corrosion

The zinc layer has a thickness of 50-100 μ m and is metallurgically bonded to the substrate to isolate corrosion.

The lifespan of dry environments is 10-15 years, while that of humid/buried environments is 5-8 years.

    -High mechanical strength

The commonly used materials are Q235 and Q355, with a tensile strength of ≥ 300MPa and resistance to compression and impact.

    -Strong adhesion of zinc layer

Bending, processing, and collision are not easy to detach, and there is no peeling when bent 180 degrees.

    -High cost-effectiveness

The cost is 40% -60% lower than stainless steel pipes, and the maintenance cost is extremely low.

    -Good processability

It can be cut, threaded, welded, and flanged for convenient construction.

Building fire protection: fire sprinkler, fire hydrant system (recommended by regulations).

-Municipal engineering: urban water supply, drainage, medium and low pressure gas transmission.

-Agricultural facilities: greenhouse skeleton, farmland irrigation pipeline.

-Power communication: cable conduit, power tower, substation support.

-Transportation infrastructure: highway guardrails, bridge components, and streetlight poles.

-Industry: Low pressure fluid transportation, equipment framework, mining support.

5、 Difference from Cold Galvanizing (Electrogalvanizing)

-Hot dip galvanizing: Zinc layer thickness (50-100 μ m), strong bonding, strong corrosion resistance, long service life, suitable for outdoor/buried use.

-Cold galvanizing: The zinc layer is thin (5-30 μ m), prone to detachment, has a short lifespan, and has been banned from use in water and gas pipes.
