  • Description :

Epoxy coal tar is a cost-effective form of anti-corrosion, and engineering tests have shown that using epoxy coal tar combined with cathodic protection. Oil and gas pipelines have been used for 20 years without any corrosion. The components are epoxy coal tar primer and topcoat, both of which are mainly composed of epoxy resin and coal tar as film-forming materials, and are made by adding various anti rust pigments, insulating fillers, toughening agents, leveling agents, diluents, anti settling agents, etc. The B component is a modified amine curing agent or a curing agent as the main material, and is made by adding pigments and fillers. When this product is sold, components A and B are supplied together. During construction, they are mixed in proportion and mixed evenly before being used up within the specified time. Since its production in, different resins and pigments have been used for improvement to resist different corrosive media. Special coatings such as anti-corrosion coatings for water pipes, chemical atmospheric anti-corrosion coatings, gas cabinets, pipes, oil storage tanks, and oil pipelines have been developed successively. The comprehensive performance of this series of coatings is as follows:

Buried large-diameter anti-corrosion steel pipe 1. Simple surface treatment; 2. Excellent anti-corrosion performance; 3. The performance price ratio is reasonable. The coating of anti-corrosion steel pipes inside and outside buried drinking water pipelines by the manufacturer is more effective because it combines the bottom layer of epoxy powder, the middle layer of adhesive, and the outer layer of polyethylene organically into a whole, and then gives the coating the benefits of fusion bonded epoxy powder (FBE) coating and polyethylene coating. Fusion bonded epoxy forms ionic bonds and physical interlocking forces with activated ions on the surface of steel pipes through its active groups, enabling it to firmly adhere to the metal substrate surface. TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes are modified with polyethylene to produce copolymer adhesives. They not only have the ability to form covalent bonds (ester bonds) with fusion bonded epoxy through chemical reactions, but also disrupt the electronic balance of polyethylene materials through grafting modification, enhancing the van der Waals forces between fusion bonded epoxy and copolymer molecules, effectively improving the interfacial bonding strength between the two. And it does not change the processability of the intermediate layer adhesive polyethylene. When reaching the molding temperature, the melted intermediate layer adhesive and the outer layer polyethylene will penetrate and coil with each other under certain external pressure, crystallize and harden when cooled, and the molecules of the two can co crystallize. Therefore, the two layers can be completely integrated without separate interfaces, allowing the three materials to combine to form a complete anti-corrosion layer.
