  • Description :

Polyurethane insulation pipes are widely used in liquid and gas transportation pipelines, chemical pipeline insulation engineering, petroleum, chemical, central heating pipelines, air conditioning and ventilation pipelines, municipal engineering, etc. High temperature prefabricated direct buried insulation pipe is a type of direct buried prefabricated insulation pipe with good insulation performance, safety and reliability, and low engineering cost. Effectively solved the insulation, sliding lubrication, and waterproofing problems of prefabricated buried insulation pipes for high temperature heat transfer in urban centralized heating from 130 ℃ to 600 ℃. High temperature prefabricated buried insulation pipes not only have traditional trench and overhead pipeline technology and practical performance, but also have social and economic benefits, and are powerful measures for heating energy conservation.

Polyurethane insulation pipe is divided into three layers from inside to outside:

Inner layer: The working steel pipe layer generally uses seamless steel pipes, spiral steel pipes, and straight seam steel pipes according to the design and customer requirements. After advanced shot blasting and rust removal process, the rust removal grade of the steel pipe can reach Sa2 level in GB8923-1988 standard, and the surface roughness can reach R=12.5 microns in GB6060.5-88 standard.

Middle layer: polyurethane insulation layer: it is made by injecting the original liquid of rigid polyurethane foam into the cavity formed between the steel pipe and the outer protective layer with a high-pressure foaming machine, which is commonly known as "pipe in pipe foaming".

Outer layer: high-density polyethylene protective layer: prefabricated black or yellow polyethylene plastic pipes with a certain wall thickness. Its functions are twofold: firstly, to protect the polyurethane insulation layer from mechanical damage caused by hard objects; secondly, to prevent corrosion and waterproofing.

Main performance indicators of polyurethane insulation pipe:

      1. Inner steel pipe: Outer diameter ≤ 159mm, seamless steel pipe, steel grade 20. Outer diameter ≥ 219mm, spiral seam double-sided submerged arc welded steel pipe, steel grade Q235-B.

      2. Polyurethane foam insulation layer and external protective sleeve.

      3. Insulation pipe: axial shear strength ≥ Kpa ≥ 120 CJ/T 114

      Characteristics of polyurethane insulation pipe

Polyurethane insulation pipes have excellent characteristics such as light bulk density, high strength, thermal insulation, sound insulation, flame retardancy, cold resistance, corrosion resistance, non water absorption, and easy and fast construction. They have become indispensable materials for insulation, waterproofing, sealing, and other industrial sectors such as construction, transportation, petroleum, chemical, power, and refrigeration.

      Low thermal conductivity:

The thermal conductivity of polyurethane foam is low in thermal insulation materials, so it can reduce the heat loss of materials to a lower limit.

      Waterproof, anti-corrosion, and anti-aging:

As the closed cell rate of polyurethane foam is more than 92%, polyurethane foam can not only be used as the thermal insulation layer of directly buried pipelines, but also effectively prevent water, moisture and other corrosive liquids and gases from penetrating, preventing the growth and development of microorganisms.

Polyurethane Insulation Pipe - Common Problems and Solutions in Construction:

The slow starting speed of polyurethane insulation pipes usually occurs during autumn, winter or morning construction, due to sudden drops in temperature or low temperatures. Raising the ambient temperature and black material temperature can solve the problem. Generally, raising the temperature of the black material to 30-60 ℃ and the ambient temperature to 20-30 ℃ is sufficient.

The phenomenon of rapid occurrence of polyurethane insulation pipes usually occurs during spring and summer or noon construction, due to sudden temperature rise caused by high temperatures. Black materials can be cooled with cold water or left outdoors for natural cooling at night to avoid direct sunlight.

The strength of polyurethane insulation pipe foam is low and the foam is soft. This phenomenon is caused by the proportion of black and white materials. Properly increase the proportion of black materials (1:1-1.05). Be careful not to make the proportion of black materials too large, otherwise the foam will become brittle and affect the foam performance.

Polyurethane insulation pipes are highly popular for their excellent performance, convenient construction, and long service life. Their structure consists of three parts: an outer protective layer, insulation layer, and anti leakage layer. The outer protective layer is made of polyethylene, fiberglass, or other materials. There are three types of laying methods: direct burial, overhead, and trench laying. Our company produces high-density polyethylene jacket pipes, polyurethane insulation pipes, direct buried insulation pipes, polyurethane direct buried insulation pipes, steel sheathed steel direct buried insulation pipes, fiberglass wrapped insulation pipes, polyurethane products and other insulation materials.
