  • Description :

Polyurethane insulation pipes are widely used in liquid and gas transportation pipelines, chemical pipeline insulation engineering, petroleum, chemical, central heating pipelines, air conditioning and ventilation pipelines, municipal engineering, etc. High temperature prefabricated direct buried insulation pipe is a type of direct buried prefabricated insulation pipe with good insulation performance, safety and reliability, and low engineering cost. Effectively solved the insulation, sliding lubrication, and waterproofing problems of prefabricated buried insulation pipes for high temperature heat transfer in urban centralized heating from 130 ℃ to 600 ℃. High temperature prefabricated buried insulation pipes not only have traditional trench and overhead pipeline technology and practical performance, but also have social and economic benefits, and are powerful measures for heating energy conservation.

      Characteristics of polyurethane insulation pipe

Polyurethane insulation pipes have excellent characteristics such as light bulk density, high strength, thermal insulation, sound insulation, flame retardancy, cold resistance, corrosion resistance, non water absorption, and easy and fast construction. They have become indispensable materials for insulation, waterproofing, sealing, and other industrial sectors such as construction, transportation, petroleum, chemical, power, and refrigeration.

      Low thermal conductivity:

The thermal conductivity of polyurethane foam is low in thermal insulation materials, so it can reduce the heat loss of materials to a lower limit.

      Waterproof, anti-corrosion, and anti-aging:

As the closed cell rate of polyurethane foam is more than 92, polyurethane foam can not only be used as the thermal insulation layer of directly buried pipelines, but also effectively prevent water, moisture and other corrosive liquids and gases from penetrating, preventing the growth and development of microorganisms.

Polyurethane insulation pipe mainly consists of four parts

      (1) Working steel pipes: According to the technical requirements of the conveying medium, seamless steel pipes, double-sided submerged arc spiral welded steel pipes are used.

      (2) Thermal insulation layer: rigid polyurethane foam.

      (3) Protective shell: Made of high-density polyethylene or fiberglass.

      (4) Leakage alarm line: When manufacturing high-temperature prefabricated buried insulation pipes, an alarm line is buried in the insulation layer near the steel pipe. Once a leakage occurs in a certain part of the pipeline, through the conduction of the line, an alarm can be triggered on a dedicated detection instrument to display the accurate location and degree of the leakage, so as to notify maintenance personnel to quickly deal with the leaking pipe section and ensure the safe operation of the heating network.

      Advantages of polyurethane insulation pipe:

      (1) Low engineering cost

      (2) Less land occupation, faster construction, and favorable environmental protection.

      (3) Jacket tubes save energy, resist corrosion, have good insulation performance, and have a long service life.

      (4) Can be equipped with a leakage alarm line for safety. Once a leakage occurs in a certain part of the pipeline, the accurate location and degree of leakage of the insulation pipeline can be displayed on a dedicated detection instrument through the transmission of the alarm line, in order to notify maintenance personnel to quickly deal with the leaking pipe section and ensure the safe operation of the heating pipeline network.

Polyurethane insulation pipe has become a relatively mature technology. In the past decade, heating engineering technicians have been promoting the development of domestic pipeline laying technology to a higher level by digesting and absorbing this technology. The practical achievements over the past decade have fully demonstrated that the laying method of polyurethane insulated pipelines has many advantages compared to traditional trench and overhead laying. The polyurethane insulation pipe is closely combined by the steel pipe conveying the medium, the high-density polyethylene outer sleeve, and the rigid polyurethane foam insulation layer between the steel pipe and the outer sleeve. This is also the intrinsic driving force behind the rapid development of polyurethane insulated buried pipes in heating engineering.
