It is suitable for a wide range of conditions, especially for ores with high fineness, specific gravity, and block size, which other transportation machinery cannot match. But its work efficiency is not high. When the rake distance is above 4050 meters, it significantly reduces the reasonable haul distance to around 10-30 meters, and rarely reaches 100 meters. It is not suitable for long-distance rake transportation in high-intensity mining methods.

      The breakage of two brake belts and the appearance of cracks in the motor seat are caused by overload.       The brake belt of the winch is made of 2mm thick steel plate and 8mm thick asbestos board riveted together. Due to the simple winding of the brake belt, there are significant differences in elastic deformation and stress states when the rotating drum is stopped. Analysis and practice have shown that the area near the brake head is prone to breakage. Through multiple innovation experiments conducted by several units, the heavy cast brake head was removed and the brake belt was divided into three sections and hinged together with a small shaft, resulting in a better effect. In this way, the elastic deformation of each section of the brake belt is relatively uniform, and it has a self-adjusting effect on the tightness of the brake wheel, which can extend the service life of the brake belt by more than five times.

      The lack of flexibility in operating the brake is caused by improper adjustment of the brake lever and spring, or by impurities such as oil and dust on the brake wheel rim, which greatly reduces the friction force. If this situation is discovered, it is necessary to adjust the brake lever and spring in a timely manner, control the gap between the brake band and the brake wheel rim, and ensure that the braking stroke of the brake lever is within the range of 200-300 millimeters.
