Research has shown that water infiltration is one of the direct and significant causes of these damages. In order to protect the bridge deck, prevent ruts or tracks from directly wearing the bridge deck, and disperse the concentrated load of the wheels, cement concrete and asphalt concrete are usually used to pave the bridge deck. To meet the requirements of good waterproofing, stability, crack resistance, durability, and good interlayer adhesion, a waterproof layer is generally set between the bridge deck paving layers. However, among numerous waterproof materials, waterproof coatings have been widely used and in large quantities in road and bridge waterproofing in recent years.       4、 Scope of application

      The product is specifically designed for waterproofing engineering of roads and bridges, and is also suitable for waterproofing of building roofs, underground, and tunnel projects.

      5、 Construction technology

      1. Base preparation

      (1) The substrate must be sturdy, flat, clean, and free of dust, grease, wax, release agents, and other debris;

      (2) All small pores and sand holes can be sealed by adding a little water to the sealing king and mixing it into a wet ball shape, then smoothing it out;

      (3) Before applying the slurry, the substrate can be pre wetted, but there should be no accumulated water.

      2. Grassroots treatment: The newly constructed concrete shall reach the design strength, and the surface temperature cracks and natural shrinkage cracks shall be basically completed. The surface of the base shall be free of floating dust, dirt, grease, accumulated water, etc., and shall be clean and dry.

      3. The construction must have complete equipment and good performance.

      4. Mix the paint evenly before application, and maintain intermittent mixing during construction to prevent sedimentation.

      5. Before applying a large area of paint, use a small brush to apply 2-3 coats on the treated substrate, and then apply a large area of paint. Generally, it takes 3-6 hours (but not more than 24 hours) depending on the temperature. After the paint is dry, apply the second and third coats until the desired thickness is achieved.

      VI Precautions

      1. This product is suitable for use in an environment between 5 ℃ and 35 ℃. During the construction process, it must be protected from rain, hot sunlight, and frost.

      2. If there is precipitation, it does not affect the quality. Stir well and it can be used normally.

      3. Material storage: High temperature exposure is strictly prohibited. If the bucket lid is opened, it should be sealed immediately after use; Pay attention to antifreeze at 0 ℃.

      

      7、 Reference dosage

      When the dry film thickness of waterproof membrane is 1mm, the dosage is 1.9kg/m2, and the coating thickness of bridge deck is generally around 0.5mm-0.7mm, with a dosage of 1.0-1.5kg/㎡. The actual dosage depends on the specific substrate conditions.
