ABS high rubber powder composition:
ABS high rubber powder is a ternary copolymer of styrene, butadiene, and acrylonitrile, with a high content of butadiene (68-70%) in its composition, hence it is called high rubber powder. The universal low glue content is around 52%.
ABS high rubber powder characteristics
1. High adhesive content
The high rubber content is 70%, while the rubber content of products from other manufacturers is generally below 60%. When producing general grade ABS, only 23-28% high rubber powder needs to be added to achieve the required performance indicators. If low rubber powder is used, 28-33% needs to be added, so using high rubber powder can reduce costs.
2. High nitrile content
The high rubber nitrile content is around 26-28%, with strong polarity, easy coloring, good chemical resistance, and strong rigidity of the produced ABS, improving glossiness.
3. High thermal deformation temperature
The universal ABS produced by high rubber powder has a significantly increased hot deformation temperature, between 92-95 ℃, which is much higher than the national standard and has obvious advantages compared to other manufacturers' products.
4. High melt index
ABS produced from high rubber powder has a high melt index, good flowability, excellent yellowing resistance, and is easy to process.
