The electrical properties of polycarbonate PC sheet: The molecules of PC are extremely small and have low water absorption, so it has excellent electrical insulation performance, but it is not suitable for places with electric arcs.
Stability performance of polycarbonate PC sheet: PC can resist inorganic acids, most rare organic acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, saturated cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, oxidizing and reducing substances, oils, alcohols (except methanol), and cleaning agents, but cannot resist strong alkalis, oxidizing acids, amines, ketones, and is soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic solvents.
When the processing temperature of PC exceeds 300 degrees, it will turn yellow in the presence of water, iron, and residual alkali. PC can withstand hot water at 60 degrees Celsius but is prone to cracking at higher temperatures.
