1、 Product Introduction
PC has a high water absorption rate, so it must be preheated and dried before processing. Pure PC is dried at 120 ℃, while modified PC is generally dried at 110 ℃ for more than 4 hours. The drying time cannot exceed 10 hours. Generally, the air extrusion method can be used to determine whether the drying is sufficient. The proportion of recycled materials can reach 20%. In some cases, 100% recycled materials can be used, and the actual amount depends on the quality requirements of the product. Recycled materials cannot be mixed with different color masterbatch at the same time, otherwise it will seriously damage the properties of the finished product.
If the degree of dryness is poor, there is much water in the plastic, the melt viscosity drops sharply, and the melt flows out rapidly. The gun barrel nozzle continuously sprays foam shaped snowballs, white smoke or gas in the crackling sound.
If the drying degree is average, the molten material slowly injected into the nozzle will be turbid and unclear, with a dull surface and a small amount of small bubbles inside. The formed workpiece will have a rough and dull surface near the gate or other parts, and its impact strength will be low
