APEL Japan Mitsui COC APL5014CL Chemical Corrosion Resistant Optical Grade
APEL is a cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) developed by Mitsui Chemicals using Ziegler polymerization technology.
The comprehensive performance of polyolefin resin and amorphous resin can control heat resistance and flowability.
In amorphous polyolefins, the refractive index is low, optical anisotropy is low, and birefringence is extremely low, which has been proven to be applied in optical plastic lenses.
Excellent moisture resistance, chemical resistance, and non adhesion, suitable for medical packaging materials.

Application: Optics
