      PSU E2010 German BASF High Temperature Resistant, Sanitary Materials, Medical/Nursing Products Injection Molding

      E 2010 is an unreinforced medium viscosity standard injection molded PES grade. It is easy to flow and has excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability. It meets the FDA requirements of 21 CFR 177.2440.

      Preparation process of PSU

      The preparation method of PSU involves first reacting chlorobenzene to produce p-chlorobenzenesulfonyl chloride, which is then condensed with chlorobenzene under the catalysis of aluminum trichloride to form 4,4-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone. If reacted with bisphenol A and sodium hydride in the presence of solvents such as dimethyl sulfoxide, the resulting sodium salt of bisphenol A is condensed into PSU. Mechanical industry: used for manufacturing clock housings and parts, copiers, cameras and other components, as well as hot water valves, refrigeration system appliances, transmission parts, etc. for food machinery. After adding wear-resistant fillers such as polytetrafluoroethylene or graphite, polysulfone plastic can be used as bearings for high-temperature loads, as well as piston rings, bearing retainers, hot water measuring instruments, warm water pump bodies, impellers, etc. It can be used to manufacture integrated circuit boards for televisions, speakers, and computers. It can also be used to make casings for electronic and electrical equipment, electroplating tanks, casings and coil frames for oscilloscopes, capacitor films and coatings for wires and cables, as well as various small precision electronic components. Polyarylsulfone can be used as a C-grade insulation material to make various high-temperature resistant coil frames, switches, connectors, etc. Polyether sulfone can also be used as coil conduit, coil frame, micro capacitor, etc. Fiberglass reinforced polyether sulfone can be used as a thyristor insulator, a miniature potentiometer housing, and an integrated circuit socket.
