1、 Product Introduction
Polyoxyxylene is one of the inexpensive high-temperature resistant plastics, but it is difficult to manufacture and its impact and heat resistance will decrease over time. Mixing polyoxymethylene and polystyrene can improve this drawback. In the 1960s, adjusted polyethylene glycol was introduced under the trade name Noryl. The commonly used material in the market is modified polyphenylene oxide (MPPO), also known as MPPE (Modified Polyphenylene Ether).

Material Properties
1. Mechanical properties
PPO has outstanding mechanical properties, being hard and tough, especially in terms of tensile strength, impact strength, and creep resistance.
2. Thermal properties
PPO has high heat resistance, with a thermal deformation temperature of up to 190 ℃ for pure PPO, 120 ℃ for long-term use, and 205 ℃ for short-term use.
3. Electrical properties
PPO has excellent electrical properties, with relatively low dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent, making it suitable for the preparation of PCB substrate materials.
4. Chemical properties
PPO has good chemical corrosion resistance and is stable to oleic acid, alkali, and salts. It can expand in fatty and aromatic hydrocarbons such as ethyl acetate, acetone, and gasoline. PPO has poor antioxidant properties and requires the addition of phosphate ester antioxidants.
