      PEEK 550G Jilin Zhongyan High Plastic Corrosion Resistance, Flame Retardant, and Peel Resistance

       Characteristics of PEEK

      (1) High temperature resistance. PEEK has a high glass transition temperature (Tg=143 ℃) and melting point (Tm=334 ℃), with a load heat deformation temperature of up to 316 ℃, a long-term use temperature of 260 ℃, and an instantaneous use temperature of up to 300 ℃.

      (2) Self lubrication. PEEK has good sliding properties and is suitable for applications that strictly require low friction coefficient and wear resistance, especially PEEK modified with carbon fiber, graphite, and PTFE, which has excellent wear resistance.

      (3) Corrosion resistance. PEEK is insoluble in any solvent except concentrated sulfuric acid and has high chemical stability.

      (4) Flame retardancy. PEEK has self extinguishing properties and can reach UL standard 94V-0 level even without adding any flame retardants.

      (5) Easy processability. Due to its good high-temperature flowability and high thermal decomposition temperature, PEEK can be processed in various ways, such as injection molding, extrusion molding, compression molding, and melt spinning.

      (6) Mechanical characteristics. PEEK has good toughness and rigidity, and it has excellent fatigue resistance comparable to alloy materials.

      (7) Electrical performance. PEEK has high volume resistivity and surface resistivity, and can withstand various frequencies of AC potential field strength under a wide temperature range and environmental changes, maintaining good insulation performance.

      (8) Hydrolysis resistance. Resin and its composite materials are not affected by the chemical effects of water and high-pressure steam, and can be continuously used in high temperature and high-pressure steam or water environments while maintaining good mechanical properties.

      (9) Weather resistance. Excellent weather resistance, polymers can be used to manufacture components that require strict working environments or frequent sterilization treatment.
