Description :
This product covers various specifications of industrial grade titanium and titanium alloy materials, mainly including mainstream grades such as TA9, TA1, TC4 (Ti-6Al-4V), and GR2. Titanium alloys are widely used in aerospace, chemical equipment, medical devices, marine engineering, and high-end machinery manufacturing fields due to their excellent specific strength, outstanding corrosion resistance, and good biocompatibility.
TA1 belongs to industrial pure titanium, which has excellent plasticity, welding performance, and low-temperature toughness. It is suitable for applications that do not require high strength but require good formability, such as chemical vessel liners, heat exchanger pipelines, etc. GR2 (corresponding to the national standard TA2) maintains excellent corrosion resistance of pure titanium while having slightly higher strength than TA1. It is the most widely used pure titanium grade in industrial applications and is commonly used in the manufacture of acid and alkali resistant reaction vessels, pump valve components, and seawater desalination equipment.
TC4 (Ti-6Al-4V) is a typical α+β - type two-phase titanium alloy that combines high strength and good heat resistance. After heat treatment, it can achieve higher mechanical properties. It is widely used in high load structural components such as aircraft engine compressor blades, rocket engine shells, and aircraft skeletons, as well as in the manufacture of medical implants such as artificial joints and bone plates. TA9 (Ti-0.2Pd) adds trace amounts of palladium element to pure titanium, significantly improving its corrosion resistance in reducing acid media, especially suitable for chemical equipment in high temperature, high concentration chloride or acidic environments.
