    Description :

Cylindrical lithium battery is a secondary lithium-ion battery packaged in a cylindrical steel or aluminum shell, mainly used to meet the power storage needs of portable electronic devices, power tools, and light electric vehicles. It has a compact structure, high mechanical strength, and is suitable for large-scale automated production. It is widely used in typical working conditions such as consumer electronics, energy storage systems, and industrial instruments, providing stable voltage output and long cycle life.

Common specifications include 18650, 21700, 26650 and other models, with standardized diameter and height dimensions for easy modular integration. The shell material is mostly nickel plated steel shell, and the interior adopts a wound cell structure with an organic solvent electrolyte system. The standard usually complies with GB/T 31485 or IEC 62133, and has multiple safety protection mechanisms such as overcharge, overdischarge, and short circuit. The nominal voltage is generally 3.6V or 3.7V, and the capacity range ranges from 1500mAh to 5000mAh, depending on the model.

When selecting, the specific model should be determined based on equipment power consumption, space limitations, and discharge rate requirements. The high magnification type is suitable for instant high current scenarios such as power tools, while the capacity type is suitable for battery life requirements such as flashlights and power banks. If higher energy density is required, 21700 can be considered as a substitute for 18650. If larger monomer capacity is required, 26650 can be chosen. Not suitable for extreme high or low temperature environments, attention should be paid to the differences in heat dissipation and grouping methods between square or soft pack batteries.

Attention should be paid to the positive and negative directions during installation to avoid internal short circuits caused by physical impact. It is recommended to keep the battery level between 20% and 80% in daily use to extend its lifespan and avoid long-term storage with full or empty power. Regularly check the appearance for bulges and leaks, and stop using immediately if any abnormalities are found. The charger must be compatible with a dedicated lithium charging protocol, and the use of lead-acid or nickel hydrogen chargers is strictly prohibited to prevent the risk of thermal runaway and ensure safe use.
