Description :
Autoclaved aerated concrete block is a new type of lightweight wall material that mainly solves the problems of excessive self weight, low construction efficiency, and poor insulation performance of traditional clay bricks. This product is mainly made of siliceous and calcareous materials through processes such as grinding, batching, mixing, pouring, pre curing, cutting, and steam curing. Typical working conditions are applicable to infill walls in frame structures, non load bearing interior partitions, and load-bearing walls in low rise buildings. The autoclaved aerated concrete blocks provided by Zhongmao brand have a porous structure, effectively reducing building loads while providing good sound insulation and thermal insulation effects. They are an ideal wall solution for modern green buildings and are widely used in industrial and civil construction projects.
The standard external dimensions of this autoclaved aerated concrete block are 600mm in length and 300mm in width, with thicknesses ranging from 60mm to 240mm, including 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 200, and 240mm. Special sizes can be customized to meet complex node requirements. The product strength grade is divided into two levels: A3.5 and A5.0, and the dry density grade includes three specifications: B05, B06, and B07, which meet the requirements of the national standard GB/T 11968-2020 "Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks". The material has evenly distributed closed pores inside, low thermal conductivity, and good frost resistance. After high-temperature and high-pressure steam curing process, the size deviation is small and the surface flatness is high, which is conducive to subsequent plastering and decoration construction, ensuring the overall stability and durability of the wall.
When selecting autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, the strength grade should be selected based on the stress conditions of the wall. A3.5 is suitable for non load bearing infill walls, while A5.0 can be used for low rise load-bearing walls or areas with high compression requirements. The dry density B05 grade is the lightest and has the best insulation performance, suitable for exterior walls with high energy-saving requirements; B06 and B07 grades have relatively high strength and are suitable for internal partitions or walls with requirements for hanging strength. Compared with ordinary hollow concrete blocks, autoclaved aerated concrete blocks are lighter in weight, have better processing performance, can be sawed and drilled, but have a higher water absorption rate. During construction, it is necessary to control the moisture content to avoid shrinkage cracks in the later stage. When purchasing, the density and strength matching relationship required by the design drawings should be clearly defined to avoid blindly pursuing high density and increasing structural loads.
When installing autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, the base layer should be cleaned and moistened, and special bonding mortar should be used for masonry. The thickness of the mortar joint should be controlled within 3-5mm to improve the overall integrity of the wall and reduce thermal bridging effects. A gap should be reserved at the connection between the top of the wall and the beam slab, and after the wall settlement is stable, it should be filled with diagonal bricks or foaming agent. During daily maintenance, attention should be paid to preventing long-term immersion in water, and the exterior walls should be treated with waterproof finishes. Common faults such as wall cracking are often caused by dry shrinkage. It is recommended to control the moisture content of the blocks below 15% before construction, and lay alkali resistant mesh or steel wire mesh at the junction of different substrates for crack resistance treatment. Regularly check the wall for signs of water seepage and repair damaged parts in a timely manner to extend the service life.
