SUS201 stainless steel strip is an economical austenitic stainless steel material that replaces nickel with manganese, mainly addressing the dual needs of cost control and basic rust prevention performance in low corrosion environments. This category is widely used in the manufacturing of hardware products, decorative engineering, and general structural components. Typical working conditions include indoor decorative strips, kitchenware inner liners, electronic shrapnel, and various stamping and stretching parts. Compared to 304 stainless steel, SUS201 stainless steel strip significantly reduces raw material costs while maintaining good processing performance, making it suitable for large-scale production and scenarios with low requirements for strong acid and alkali corrosion resistance. This SUS201 stainless steel strip offers multiple surface states and hardness grades, strictly adhering to common standards such as GB/T 3280 or JIS G4305. 2B surface has undergone cold rolling, annealing, and acid washing treatment, presenting a uniform silver white luster, high flatness, and no obvious scratches, suitable for direct appearance use or subsequent polishing; The tensile strength of 1/2H (semi hard) state is usually in the range of 500-700MPa, with moderate elongation, balancing formability and strength; 3/4H (3/4 hard) strength is further improved, and rebound control is stable; The H (fully hard) state achieves the highest hardness through large deformation cold rolling, with a tensile strength of over 900MPa and a significant increase in yield strength. The thickness tolerance of the material is usually controlled within ± 0.02mm to ± 0.05mm, and the width can be customized according to the slitting process to ensure the dimensional stability and surface quality consistency of the coil during high-speed stamping or continuous bending.
When selecting, the hardness state of SUS201 stainless steel strip should be determined based on the processing technology of the final product. If the product involves deep stretching or complex surface forming, such as dishwasher liners or large sinks, 2B soft state should be preferred to avoid the risk of cracking; For structural components that require a certain level of support and simple bending, such as brackets and buckles, a 1/2H soft and hard moderate state is most suitable; If applied to components that require high rigidity and small deformation, such as reinforcing ribs in electrical enclosures, a 3/4H state can be selected; For various types of elastic components, springs, shrapnel, and precision hardware structural parts, it is necessary to choose the H fully hard state to ensure sufficient elastic potential energy and fatigue resistance performance. The maintenance focus of SUS201 stainless steel strip during installation and use is to prevent surface scratches and dry storage environment. It is recommended to equip tension control devices during unwinding operations to avoid strip deviation or surface scratches caused by uneven tension; Stamping molds should be kept clean and regularly lubricated to reduce mold wear and ensure a smooth cut surface. Daily storage should be placed indoors in a well ventilated and dry place, avoiding direct contact with the ground to prevent condensation of water vapor causing pitting or yellowing of the surface.
