    Description :

Perfluoropolyether lubricant is a high-performance special lubricant synthesized based on perfluoropolyether (PFPE) base oil, designed to solve lubrication problems under extreme working conditions. It is mainly used in high temperature, high vacuum, strong oxidation or strong corrosion environments, effectively solving the problems of traditional mineral oil or synthetic oil being prone to volatilization, decomposition and carbonization under these conditions. This category has extremely high chemical inertness and does not react with most chemicals. It is suitable for typical working conditions such as semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, chemical pumps and valves, and precision instruments that require high cleanliness and stability, ensuring long-term stable operation of equipment in harsh environments.

The specification parameters of perfluoropolyether lubricating oil include key indicators such as viscosity grade, flash point, pour point, and evaporation loss. The common viscosity range for sports varies from 15cSt to 1500cSt, meeting different requirements from light load high-speed to heavy load low-speed. Its flash point is usually higher than 280 ℃, and some models even have no flash point. The pour point can be as low as -40 ℃ or below, and it has the ability to adapt to a wide temperature range. This oil meets international testing standards such as ASTM D92 and ASTM D97, and has passed multiple material compatibility tests. Due to the presence of only carbon, oxygen, and fluorine elements in the molecular structure, without hydrogen atoms, it has excellent thermal oxidation stability and does not produce carbon deposits or colloids at high temperatures, maintaining the integrity of the lubricating film.

When selecting perfluoropolyether lubricating oil, it is necessary to clearly distinguish its differences from silicone oil and hydrocarbon synthetic oil. If the working conditions involve oxygen, chlorine, strong acids and bases, or high temperatures exceeding 200 ℃, perfluoropolyether products must be selected instead of ordinary synthetic oils. For scenarios that require contact with plastic or rubber seals, attention should be paid to the swelling effect of PFPE on certain elastomers, and it is recommended to conduct compatibility testing first. Not suitable for metal gear transmissions with extremely high loads and lacking extreme pressure additive support, unless specific modified models are selected. The purchaser should choose based on the viscosity grade and working temperature range recommended by the equipment manufacturer, to avoid blindly pursuing high viscosity, which may increase energy consumption or make it difficult to start at low temperatures.

The installation and maintenance of perfluoropolyether lubricating oil focus on keeping the system clean and avoiding mixing with other types of lubricating oil to reduce its chemical inertness advantage. Thoroughly clean the lubrication area and remove residual old oil before adding. The typical usage cycle is long, and it can last for several years in a closed system without the need for replacement. However, in open or polluted environments, regular monitoring of viscosity changes and impurity content is required. In daily maintenance, if the color of the oil becomes darker or sediment appears, it should be filtered or replaced in a timely manner. Common faults such as increased noise or increased wear often stem from the rupture of the lubricating film or the entry of foreign objects. It is necessary to check the sealing condition and filtration system to ensure that the perfluoropolyether lubricating oil is always in the best working condition.
