In order to truly reflect the settlement of buildings, observation points must be set up during the structural construction phase, usually at elevations close to ± 0.000. 1. Angle Steel Protection Law
Set up L140 * 90 * 80 angle steel protection around 200mm above the settlement observation point, drill a Φ 80 hole directly facing the observation point on the angle steel surface, place a tower ruler on one side, and provide a protective cover plate. Cover the lid normally and open it for observation, as shown in Figure 1.

2 Activity Setting Method
Before pouring concrete for reinforced concrete columns and living walls, steel pipes with internal threads should be pre embedded and corresponding threads should be engraved at the end of the observation point. Remove it normally and screw on the settlement observation point during observation. As shown in Figure 2. At present, pre embedded settlement observation points have emerged. Activity Setting Method
Our unit has designed settlement observation points as shown in Figure # based on the actual project during construction. Pour concrete cow legs onto concrete columns or walls, embed short steel pipes with a diameter of 108 on the cow legs, install observation points, and cover with a circular iron cover with a lower edge. Cover the lid normally and open it for observation. When decorating, the cow legs should be decorated together, with the upper opening as flat as the round box surface. After the observation period is over, they can be removed or retained.
Box protection method for settlement observation points
The observation point box protection method also applies to indoor ground observation points. The thickness of the protective box is the same as the thickness of the floor, and the elevation of the cover plate surface is the same as the floor. The protective box cover can be painted or made of stainless steel according to the owner's opinion, which does not affect its use and is also conducive to observation after delivery.
