Relevant enterprises have put forward specific suggestions on the reasonable range of coal mining prices in key production areas and coal prices in ports. Industry experts believe that in the face of market failure and abnormal increases in coal prices, the country's comprehensive measures to strengthen regulation and supervision, guide coal prices back to a reasonable range, are a full reflection of the organic combination of an effective market and a promising future. Experts attending the meeting suggested accelerating the establishment of a long-term mechanism for regulating coal prices within a reasonable range, guiding coal prices to operate within a reasonable range, so that coal prices truly reflect the market supply and demand fundamentals, and preventing price fluctuations. When coal prices exceed the upper limit of the reasonable range, price intervention measures can be initiated in a timely manner according to the relevant provisions of the Price Law; When coal prices fall excessively beyond the lower limit of a reasonable range, appropriate measures can be taken comprehensively to guide coal prices to rise reasonably; Improve the market-oriented mechanism for the formation of coal-fired power prices, encourage coal enterprises and coal-fired power generation enterprises to carry out medium - and long-term development within a reasonable range, and encourage coal-fired power generation enterprises and electricity users to clarify the linkage mechanism between coal and electricity prices in medium - and long-term contracts.
