Description :
Flat sling is a lifting sling made of high-strength polyester industrial filament as raw material, mainly used to solve the safety fixing problems of heavy goods during vertical lifting, horizontal bundling, and traction processes. This product is widely used in typical working conditions such as the installation of building engineering components, logistics warehousing and cargo handling, port container loading and unloading, and large-scale mechanical equipment relocation. Compared to traditional steel wire ropes, flat lifting belts have the advantages of light weight, good flexibility, and no damage to the surface of the lifted object, which can effectively protect the surface coating of precision equipment or vulnerable workpieces. Its rated load covers the range of 1 ton to 50 tons, which can meet different lifting requirements from lightweight components to large steel structural components. It is an indispensable basic safety consumable in modern industrial lifting operations.




This series of flat lifting belts usually comply with international and domestic mainstream standards such as JB/T 8521.1-2025 "Safety of Braided Slings" or EN 1492-1, ensuring that the safety factor of the product reaches 6:1 or higher in actual use. In terms of material, high-quality 100% polyester fiber (PES) is selected, which has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, UV aging resistance, and wear resistance. The working temperature range is usually between -40 ℃ and 100 ℃, but the rated load needs to be reduced for use in high temperature or strong acid and alkali environments. The product structure is double-layer stitching or seamless circular weaving, with reinforced edge protection design to prevent cutting damage. Colors are usually distinguished according to international standards, such as purple representing 1 ton, green representing 2 tons, yellow representing 3 tons, etc., to facilitate on-site operators to quickly identify the rated load, avoid overloading and misuse, and ensure the safety and standardization of lifting operations.
In the selection stage, procurement personnel need to focus on the impact of the weight, shape, center of gravity position, and lifting angle of the lifted object on its actual load-bearing capacity. When two or more flat lifting belts are used in combination, the actual force on a single sling will significantly increase as the angle increases. Therefore, the required sling specifications need to be recalculated based on the angle coefficient. For sharp edged metal components, corner protectors or protective sleeves must be installed to prevent the sling from breaking due to shear forces. If there is a risk of chemical corrosion in the work environment, priority should be given to selecting models that have undergone special anti-corrosion treatment or using synthetic fiber circular lifting belts instead. In addition, it is important to distinguish between the applicable scenarios of flat lifting belts and circular lifting belts. The former is more suitable for flat contact and wide surface binding, while the latter is more suitable for squeezing grabbing and lifting irregular objects. Improper selection may lead to slippage or local stress concentration.
