  • Description :

Bag filter equipment, also known as bag filter or bag filter. The working mechanism of bag filter equipment is that the dust containing flue gas passes through the filter material, and the dust particles are filtered out. The filter material mainly captures coarse dust by inertial collision, and captures fine dust mainly by diffusion and screening. The effectiveness of bag filter dust removal is related to various factors, but mainly depends on the filter material. The filter material of a bag filter is a fabric or felt woven from synthetic fibers, fibers, or glass fibers. Sew the cloth or felt into cylindrical or flat dust filter bags as needed. Select filter media suitable for the application conditions based on the properties of the flue gas. Usually, when the flue gas temperature is below 120 ℃ and the filter material is required to have acid resistance and durability, polyester velvet cloth and polyester needle punched felt are often selected; When dealing with high-temperature flue gas (<250 ℃), graphitized glass fiber cloth is mainly used; In some special cases, carbon fiber filter media should be used.

Daily operation of bag filter equipment:

In the daily operation of bag filter equipment, changes in operating conditions or malfunctions can affect the normal operation and performance of the equipment. Regular inspections and appropriate adjustments are necessary to extend the life of the filter bag, reduce power consumption, and recycle useful materials. The issues to be noted are:

      1. Operation record

Each ventilation and dust removal system should be equipped with testing instruments, which should be regularly measured and accurately recorded during daily operation. This allows for judgment based on the system's pressure difference, inlet and outlet gas temperature, main motor voltage, current, and other values and changes, and timely troubleshooting to ensure its normal operation.

The problems discovered through recording include: the working condition of the dust cleaning mechanism, the working conditions of the filter bag (such as damage, bag sticking, blockage, etc.), and changes in the system air volume.

      2. Fluid resistance

The U-shaped differential pressure gauge can be used to determine the operating condition: if the pressure difference increases, it means that the filter bag is clogged, there is condensation of water vapor on the filter bag, the cleaning mechanism fails, the ash hopper accumulates too much ash, causing blockage of the filter bag, and the gas flow rate increases. And a decrease in pressure difference means that the filter bag is damaged or loose, the inlet side pipeline is blocked, or the valve is closed. There are leakage phenomena or reduced fan speed between the box or compartments.

      3. Security

Special attention should be paid to taking measures to prevent combustion, explosion, and fire accidents in bag filter equipment. When dealing with combustion gases or high-temperature gases, incomplete combustion dust, sparks, and combustible and explosive gases often enter the system. Some dust has the property of spontaneous combustion or electrification. At the same time, most filter materials are easy to burn and generate static electricity through friction. Under such operating conditions, there is a risk of combustion and explosion accidents, and the consequences of such accidents are often serious. Fire and explosion prevention measures should be well considered, such as:

      1) Install a combustion chamber or spark trap in front of the dust collector to completely combust unburned dust and gas or capture sparks.

      2) Take measures to prevent static electricity accumulation, grounding each part with conductive materials, or adding conductive fibers during the manufacturing of filter materials.

      3) Prevent the accumulation or buildup of dust to prevent spontaneous combustion and explosion of dust.

      4) Before entering the bag room or pipeline for inspection or maintenance, it is necessary to ventilate and prevent CO poisoning.
