Description :
Reactor is a static reactive power compensation device used in power systems to limit short-circuit current, suppress harmonic interference, and improve power factor. In the field of industrial automation, it is often connected in series with the input or output terminals of frequency converters, effectively solving the problem of voltage distortion in the power grid and protecting sensitive electrical equipment from surge impact. This product is suitable for three-phase AC 50Hz or 60Hz power systems, which can significantly improve power quality, extend the service life of motors and drive equipment, and is a key component for building a stable power supply network. It is widely used in industries such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, power and machinery manufacturing.
The reactor adopts high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets as the core material, which are processed by high-precision shearing and stacking technology to ensure uniform magnetic circuit and low loss. The coil is made of high-purity electrolytic copper wire, and the insulation level usually reaches F or H level, with good heat resistance and mechanical strength. In terms of structural design, emphasis is placed on heat dissipation performance, and the operating temperature is maintained within a safe range through natural or forced air cooling. The product complies with international and domestic standards such as GB/T 1094.6 and IEC 60076-6. It has undergone strict withstand voltage testing, temperature rise testing, and partial discharge testing to ensure long-term stable operation under rated load, and electrical parameter deviations are controlled within the allowable range of national standards.
When selecting, it is important to consider the system's rated voltage, rated current, and required reactance rate (such as 1%, 3%, 5%, etc.). The input reactor is mainly used to suppress the impact of grid side harmonics on the frequency converter, and is suitable for scenarios with large power capacity or a large number of nonlinear loads; Output reactors are used to limit voltage spikes on motor cables and are suitable for long-distance transmission or high-frequency carrier applications. If specific harmonics need to be filtered out, a matching filtering reactor should be selected. Pay attention to distinguishing between dry-type and oil immersed structures. Generally, dry-type epoxy casting or immersion painting processes are preferred for indoor distribution cabinet installation. For outdoor or high-capacity scenarios, a comprehensive evaluation should be conducted based on the protection level IP requirements and environmental temperature and humidity conditions.
When installing, it should be placed vertically to ensure sufficient heat dissipation space around and avoid being adjacent to other heating elements. The wiring terminals should be securely fastened to prevent local overheating caused by poor contact. In daily maintenance, regularly check whether there is dust accumulation, discoloration or insulation aging on the surface of the coil, and clean the debris in the ventilation duct to ensure heat dissipation efficiency. If abnormal noise or increased vibration is detected, the machine should be stopped immediately to check if the clamping bolts of the iron core are loose. In humid or dusty environments, it is recommended to increase the frequency of regular insulation resistance testing to ensure that the equipment is in good insulation condition, thereby ensuring the safe and continuous operation of the entire electric drive system.
