Prefabricated substation is a factory prefabricated indoor and outdoor compact distribution equipment that integrates high-voltage switchgear, distribution transformers, and low-voltage distribution devices according to a certain wiring scheme. It is mainly used for receiving and distributing electricity in urban high-rise buildings, residential communities, factories, mines, etc., to solve the problems of large land occupation and long construction period of traditional civil engineering substations. This device is suitable for use in three-phase AC systems with an AC frequency of 50Hz and a rated voltage of 10kV or below, as a public distribution location for receiving and distributing electrical energy. The installation of prefabricated substations should choose locations with high terrain, good drainage, and no severe vibration, and the foundation should be level and firm. Daily maintenance requires regular inspection of the casing for rust and damage, as well as the integrity of the door lock to prevent small animals from entering. Regularly inspect the oil level and temperature of the transformer to ensure they are normal, check for any oil leakage, and listen for any abnormal operating sounds. Check whether the contacts of the high and low voltage switches are in good contact, whether there is overheating or discoloration, and whether the instrument readings are accurate. It is recommended to conduct power outage cleaning and maintenance once a year, tighten connecting bolts, and test insulation resistance. Common faults include transformer overheating, switch refusal to operate, etc. The causes should be promptly investigated and dealt with to ensure the long-term safe and stable operation of the equipment and extend the service life of prefabricated substations.
