      POM plastic pellets are a high-performance thermoplastic engineering plastic, also known as polyoxymethylene. It mainly solves the wear and fatigue problems of mechanical components under high-speed and high load conditions, and is suitable for manufacturing precision transmission parts such as gears, bearings, and cams. The POM material produced by Yuntianhua has extremely high crystallinity, tightly arranged molecular chains, and endows the material with excellent mechanical strength and rigidity. This material can maintain good physical properties over a wide temperature range and is an ideal choice for replacing metal in the manufacturing of lightweight components. It is widely used in the fields of automobiles, electronic appliances, and industrial machinery.


      The POM plastic particles are usually milky white or black cylindrical particles with a smooth surface and no impurities. Its density is about 1.42g/cm ³, with extremely low water absorption and good dimensional stability. The materials comply with national standards such as GB/T 3682, and some grades have passed environmental certifications such as ROHS and REACH. Typical mechanical properties include high tensile strength (≥ 60MPa) and high bending modulus, with a hot deformation temperature between 110 ℃ and 120 ℃. As a well-known manufacturer, Yuntianhua has strict process control to ensure that the melt index of each batch of products is stable, the flowability is moderate, and it is convenient for injection molding processing, ensuring the consistency between the surface smoothness and internal structure of the products.


      When selecting, it is necessary to distinguish between homopolymer POM and copolymer POM. Yuntianhua POM is mostly a homopolymer with higher crystallinity and melting point, suitable for scenarios with high requirements for heat resistance and rigidity; If strong alkali resistance or long-term hot water environment is required, it is recommended to evaluate copolymer POM or other modified materials. For applications that require flame retardancy, conductivity, or enhanced toughness, modified grades with corresponding additives should be selected. The purchaser should note that ordinary POM is not resistant to strong acids and oxidants. If the working conditions involve such chemical media, careful selection or surface protection treatment should be carried out to avoid component failure caused by chemical corrosion.


      Before using POM plastic pellets for injection molding, they must be thoroughly dried. It is recommended to dry at 80 ℃ -90 ℃ for 2-4 hours, with a moisture content controlled below 0.1% to prevent silver lines or bubbles from appearing in the product. The molding temperature is usually controlled between 190 ℃ -210 ℃, and the mold temperature is maintained between 80 ℃ -100 ℃ to improve crystallinity. In daily maintenance, products should be avoided from being exposed to strong ultraviolet radiation for a long time to prevent aging and brittleness. When storing, it should be placed in a cool and dry place, with sealed packaging to prevent moisture absorption from affecting subsequent processing performance. Regularly inspect the wear of transmission components and replace excessively worn POM parts in a timely manner to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
