Description :
The JHH series mining intrinsic safety circuit junction box is a signal connection and distribution device designed specifically for hazardous environments in coal mines. It mainly solves the problems of line branching, connection, and protection of intrinsic safety circuits under complex working conditions. This device is suitable for mining environments containing explosive mixtures such as methane and coal dust, ensuring stable and reliable signal transmission for communication, monitoring, and control systems. Typical working conditions include underground mining face, along the roadway, and signal transfer nodes of various automation control systems, which can effectively prevent explosion accidents caused by electric sparks and ensure the safety of mine production.
The outer shell of the junction box is usually made of high-strength engineering plastic or cast aluminum material, which has excellent impact resistance, corrosion resistance, and anti-static performance. The execution standards comply with MT/T standards and GB3836 series specifications for electrical equipment used in explosive environments, with a protection level usually reaching IP54 or above, suitable for humid and dusty underground environments. The internal wiring terminals are arranged neatly, with clear markings, and support for multiple signal inputs and outputs. JHH-2A, JHH-3A, and JHH-4A correspond to different wiring capacities and port quantities, with specific dimensions depending on the model. The common installation methods are wall mounted or bracket fixed, with rubber sealing rings at the inlet and outlet to ensure the sealing and intrinsic safety performance of the cable entry point.
When selecting, the corresponding model should be chosen based on the actual number of wiring connections: JHH-2A is suitable for signal branches with fewer channels, while JHH-3A and JHH-4A are used for more channel connection scenarios. Attention should be paid to distinguishing between intrinsic safety circuits and non intrinsic safety circuits. It is strictly prohibited to connect non intrinsic safety circuits to intrinsic safety junction boxes to avoid damaging explosion-proof safety. Compared with ordinary junction boxes, intrinsic safety junction boxes have stricter requirements for internal creepage distance and electrical clearance, and the shell needs to pass electrostatic testing. If there is strong electromagnetic interference on site, it is recommended to choose a model with shielded grounding terminals and confirm whether the supporting cables meet the requirements of intrinsic safety parameters to avoid excessive distributed capacitance and inductance.
During installation, ensure that the casing is well grounded and tighten the fastening bolts to prevent loosening and sparking. In daily maintenance, it is necessary to regularly check whether the shell has cracks or deformations, whether the sealing ring has aged or failed, and whether the inlet and outlet ports are loose. If water or condensation is found inside the box, the power should be cut off in a timely manner and the sealing condition should be checked. Common faults include signal interruption caused by poor contact. In this case, it is necessary to open the box cover to check the terminal crimping situation and re tighten the wires. When cleaning, use a damp cloth to wipe. It is strictly prohibited to use organic solvents for cleaning to prevent corrosion of the casing or damage to the anti-static coating, ensuring that the equipment is in good condition for a long time.
