    Description :

The perfluorohexane heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing device is an efficient and environmentally friendly gas fire extinguishing system, mainly used to protect valuable electronic equipment, data centers, archives and other places that are not suitable for water firefighting. This fire extinguishing device releases perfluorohexane or heptafluoropropane gas to quickly reduce the temperature of the fire and suppress the combustion chain reaction, achieving rapid fire extinguishing without leaving any residue and avoiding secondary damage to precision instruments. Typical working conditions include enclosed or semi enclosed spaces such as server rooms, power distribution rooms, and communication base stations, which can effectively control the fire in the early stages of a fire, ensuring the safety of personnel and the integrity of property.

The fire extinguishing device usually uses steel cylinders to store the fire extinguishing agent, with a working pressure of 2.5 MPa or 4.2 MPa (heptafluoropropane) or atmospheric pressure storage (perfluorohexane), equipped with electromagnetic drive heads, pressure signals, and nozzle components. The implementation standards comply with the requirements of GB50370 "Design Specification for Gas Fire Extinguishing Systems" and GB25972 "Gas Fire Extinguishing Systems and Components". The device has three modes of automatic, manual, and mechanical emergency start to ensure reliable operation in the event of power failure or control failure. The purity of the fire extinguishing agent is usually ≥ 99.6%, the spraying time is not more than 10 seconds, and the immersion time is adjusted according to the volume of the protective zone, generally not less than 10 minutes, to ensure the fire extinguishing effect.

When selecting, it is necessary to distinguish the applicable scenarios of perfluorohexane and heptafluoropropane: perfluorohexane has excellent insulation, lower toxicity, and is more environmentally friendly (ODP=0, GWP extremely low), suitable for places with extremely high environmental requirements or manned operations; Heptafluoropropane technology is mature and relatively low-cost, suitable for large data centers or unmanned areas. If there is a risk of deep fire or extremely fast ventilation in the protected area, it is necessary to evaluate whether to increase the amount of fire extinguishing agent or switch to other fire extinguishing methods. Not applicable to fires caused by reactive metals, metal hydrides, or chemical substances that can provide oxygen on their own. When purchasing, it is necessary to confirm the volume of the protective zone, the setting of the pressure relief port, and the requirements for linkage control.

During installation, it should be ensured that the steel cylinder is firmly fixed, the nozzle is facing reasonably to cover the dead corners of the protective area, and the pipeline connection is well sealed. It is recommended to check the pressure gauge pointer in the green zone every month for daily maintenance, and conduct a comprehensive inspection once a year, including weighing and checking for fire extinguishing agent leakage (if the leakage of heptafluoropropane is greater than 5%, it needs to be filled). Regularly test the continuity between the alarm controller and the starting circuit to prevent accidental spraying or refusal to operate. Common faults include abnormal drop of pressure gauge, open circuit of solenoid valve coil or nozzle blockage. If any abnormalities are found, professional personnel should be contacted in a timely manner for handling. It is strictly prohibited to dismantle the bottle head valve or modify the pipeline structure without authorization.
