Compared with traditional brick built drainage ditches, M-type finished drainage ditches have faster installation speed, smooth inner walls that are less prone to fouling, and higher utilization of water discharge sections. Attention should be paid to the slope design of the ditch, generally maintaining a longitudinal slope of 0.5% -1% to facilitate self drainage and avoid reverse slope causing water accumulation.

  Before installing the M-type drainage ditch, the foundation needs to be compacted and a concrete cushion layer should be laid to ensure even stress distribution on the ditch body. Daily maintenance mainly focuses on cleaning leaves, mud, and other debris in the gaps of the cover plate to prevent blockage and affect drainage efficiency. It is recommended to conduct a comprehensive flushing every quarter to check whether the cover plate is damaged or loose, especially before and after the rainstorm season. If leakage is found at the joint of the ditch, special sealant should be used for repair in a timely manner.
