    Description :

      A coupling is a device used to connect two shafts or shafts with rotating parts, which rotates together during the transmission of motion and power, and does not detach under normal circumstances. It mainly solves the problem of shaft misalignment caused by manufacturing errors, installation errors, or working deformations in mechanical transmission systems, while compensating for certain radial, axial, and angular displacements. Typical working conditions include the connection between motors and equipment such as pumps, fans, compressors, etc., which are widely used in metallurgy, chemical, power, mining, and general machinery manufacturing fields to ensure the smoothness and reliability of power transmission.


      This type of product is usually made of high-quality alloy steel, stainless steel, or aluminum alloy materials, and undergoes precision machining, heat treatment, and surface anti-corrosion treatment.       When selecting, it is important to consider the size of the transmitted torque, the speed, the alignment of the two shafts, and installation space limitations. For high-speed, high torque applications that require no backlash, it is advisable to use diaphragm couplings or bellows couplings; If large vibration impacts need to be absorbed, a plum blossom elastic coupling or a tire type coupling is more suitable. Attention should be paid to distinguishing the application scenarios of rigid couplings and elastic couplings. Rigid couplings are suitable for strict low-speed heavy loads, while elastic couplings are suitable for working conditions with certain deviations or requiring shock absorption.       Before installation, the shaft end and coupling inner hole should be cleaned to remove burrs and oil stains. The coupling hub should be installed into the shaft end by hot or cold pressing, and direct tapping is strictly prohibited to avoid damaging the bearings or internal components. Regularly check the tightening torque of the connecting bolts and observe whether the elastic components have aging, cracks, or wear. For gear couplings with lubrication requirements, lubricating grease should be added according to the prescribed cycle. Common faults include abnormal vibration, increased noise, or high temperature rise, usually caused by poor alignment, loose bolts, or failure of elastic bodies. It is necessary to stop the machine in a timely manner for inspection and adjustment to extend the service life of the equipment.
