Especially now, due to the severity of pollution, the decanter centrifuge has been well used in the treatment of sewage. The development potential of the decanter centrifuge cannot be ignored. The first spiral centrifuge with modern practical value in China was manufactured in 1954. Due to its unique characteristics of continuous operation, large disposal capacity, low power consumption per unit output, and strong adaptability, it has developed rapidly. In more than 40 years of development, there have been significant changes in planning, function, and parameters. Quality and production can continue to improve, and the application planning is more extensive. It has always played an important role in the field of centrifuges. In the past, two two-phase horizontal screw centrifuges were needed, one for solid-liquid separation, first for slag removal, and the other for liquid-liquid separation, and then for dehydration. This production method was cumbersome. Later, three-phase horizontal screw centrifuges were gradually used for oil-water slag three-phase separation. When the suspension to be separated is fed into the drum through the feed pipe, the high-speed rotating drum ignites and generates strong centrifugal force, causing solid particles with higher density than the liquid phase to settle on the inner wall of the drum. Due to the different rotational speeds of the screw and drum, there is relative motion between the two, and the denser solid settles on the drum wall.
Working Principle:(As shown in the figure)

The drum and the screw rotate at a certain speed difference in the same direction and high speed. The material is continuously introduced into the inner cylinder of the conveying screw through the feeding pipe, accelerated and enters the drum. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, heavier solid substances deposit on the drum wall to form a sediment layer. The feeding spiral continuously pushes the deposited solid phase to the cone end of the drum and discharges it outside the machine through the slag discharge outlet. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which continuously overflows from the large end overflow port of the drum and is discharged outside the machine through the discharge port. This machine can continuously feed, separate, wash, and discharge materials at full speed.

The centrifuge host is composed of a rotary drum, a screw propeller, a large end support plate, a small end support plate, a differential, a main drive motor, an auxiliary drive motor, a hydraulic coupling, a bearing seat, a rotating body cover, a transmission cover, a transmission belt, a control box, and a base. The rotor and propeller are the core components of the centrifuge, where the solid-phase separation of drilling fluid is carried out.
