      1、 Solid liquid separation of crystalline powder

      Crystals are very common in nature, and the well-known one is sodium chloride crystals, commonly known as salts. This article mainly discusses chemical crystals, such as. Dicyandiamide, commonly known as dicyandiamide, is a latent curing agent that has been widely used in coatings, single packaging adhesives, film adhesives, and other applications for a long time. Dicyandiamide is a white crystal with a melting point of 207-209 ℃. It has low toxicity but is difficult to dissolve in epoxy resin. It is reported that solvents can be used to dissolve in epoxy resin, but currently it is still mixed with epoxy resin after crushing, heated and mixed on a triple roller, or processed using an extruder.

      2、 How to dehydrate crystalline powder?

      Traditional dehydration equipment includes filter presses, centrifuges, etc. Due to the squeezing effect of filter presses, they can damage the crystal structure of crystalline powders, so they are excluded. And there are also three legged centrifuges, horizontal screw centrifuges, and even filtration centrifuges, so let's talk about them in this article.

      3、 The difference between a three legged centrifuge and a decanter centrifuge:

      When a three legged centrifuge filters suspensions containing very small particles, filter cloth is usually used as the filtering medium, and it is required that the filter cake does not move relative to the filter cloth. Obviously, a simple centrifuge that meets these requirements is a three legged centrifuge. It has a cylindrical drum with a vertical axis, a solid bottom, and a semi closed top. The rim at the top is called the drum edge, and the drum is supported on a tripod, hence the name tripod centrifuge. In general, there are many small holes drilled on the surface of the drum cover, and one or more layers of large hole metal filters are covered on the inside as support for the garment shaped filter cloth installed in the drum. Before or after starting, introduce the white top of the suspension into the drum, allowing the filtrate to flow out through the cover while the bulk particles are trapped on the filter cloth. In general, filter residue is manually removed or discharged by replacing the filter cloth bag after shutdown. A more advanced three legged centrifuge can be used by first reducing the speed of the drum to a few revolutions per minute, and then pushing a plow shaped blade into the filter residue to remove solid materials. The plow shaped knife flips the solid towards the axis of the drum, causing the filter residue to fall out from the bottom opening of the drum. With the help of a timer, all operations can be automatically performed.

      Working principle of horizontal centrifuge for crystal powder dehydration equipment:

      The drum and the screw rotate at a certain speed difference in the same direction and high speed. The material is continuously introduced into the inner cylinder of the conveying screw through the feeding pipe, accelerated and enters the drum. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, heavier solid substances deposit on the drum wall to form a sediment layer. The feeding spiral continuously pushes the deposited solid phase to the cone end of the drum and discharges it outside the machine through the slag discharge outlet. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which continuously overflows from the large end overflow port of the drum and is discharged outside the machine through the discharge port. This machine can continuously feed, separate, wash, and discharge materials at full speed. It has the characteristics of compact structure, continuous operation, smooth operation, strong adaptability, high production capacity, and convenient maintenance. Suitable for separating suspensions containing solid particles with a particle size greater than 0.005mm and a concentration range of 2-40%.

      The difference between the two lies in the processing capacity. The decanter centrifuge is a mechanical dewatering equipment with a processing capacity in the centrifuge category. The decanter centrifuge itself does not have a filter cloth and is easier to maintain. It has lower after-sales maintenance costs and a higher degree of automation than the three legged centrifuge.

There are specially planned and produced sealing and explosion-proof models for special separation occasions such as flammable and explosive situations for selection, and the sealing and explosion-proof functions are good, safe and reliable. The service life of mechanical seals is guaranteed to be 8000 hours, and the service life of airtight seals is guaranteed to be over 15000 hours.
