It is mainly used as a high-performance solvent, moisturizing agent, and chemical synthesis intermediate, which can effectively solve the demand for high boiling point and low volatility solvents in industrial production. In typical working conditions such as natural gas dehydration, printing ink, coatings, and cosmetics manufacturing, tetraethylene glycol has become an important alternative to traditional ethylene glycol or triethylene glycol due to its excellent thermal stability and chemical inertness, especially suitable for applications that require higher boiling points and lower vapor pressures.
